Retrofit Installation of Vessel Navigation Lights – Report Summary

The retrofit installation of the vessel’s navigation lights was successfully completed in accordance with applicable international and national maritime regulations, including COLREGs and local authority requirements. The project commenced with a comprehensive assessment of the existing lighting system, identifying deficiencies in placement, visibility, and compliance. Electrical integration was carried out using appropriately rated marine-grade wiring, circuit protection devices, and switches, with careful attention to routing, securing, and corrosion prevention. Upon completion, each light was tested individually and in combination to verify correct operation, proper orientation. The retrofit enhances navigational safety, ensures regulatory compliance, and reduces maintenance requirements through the use of modern, energy-efficient lighting technology. Documentation of the installation, electrical schematics, and test results, has been recorded for operational and regulatory reference.
