The scope of work included the modification and replacement of bus bars in the Bus Tie panel to accommodate an increased current capacity of the Main Switchboard (MSB) onboard the vessel. All works were carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines, applicable classification society requirements, and relevant marine and electrical standards.

The scope included upgrading the Bus Tie panel to ensure safe load sharing, adequate current-carrying capacity, and proper protection coordination with the MSB. All associated electrical connections were inspected, verified, and secured as required.

Comprehensive inspection, testing, and commissioning were conducted to confirm correct operation, system reliability, and compliance with operational and safety requirements. Upon completion, the Bus Tie panel and MSB were handed over ready for service, ensuring safe power distribution and reliable system performance.
