The scope of work included the replacement of the electro-pneumatic positioner on a 3/2-way control valve located in the vessel’s engine room. All works were executed in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines, applicable classification society requirements, and relevant marine, electrical, and pneumatic standards.
Comprehensive testing, calibration, and commissioning were carried out to verify correct valve operation, control accuracy, system reliability, and compliance with operational and safety requirements. Upon completion, the valve and associated control functions were handed over ready for service, ensuring reliable operation and proper integration with the vessel’s automation and control systems.
