The scope of work included the supply, installation, programming, and commissioning of a new Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) for the vessel’s ballast pump system. All works were executed in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, classification society requirements, and applicable marine and electrical standards.

The VFD is fully integrated with the existing power distribution and control systems to provide precise speed control, reduced mechanical stress, and improved energy efficiency of the ballast pump. The installation includes all necessary electrical connections, parameter configuration, protection settings, and interface with existing automation systems.

Comprehensive testing, calibration, and commissioning were carried out to verify correct operation, system reliability, and compliance with operational and safety requirements. Upon completion, the system was delivered ready for service with optimized performance and enhanced operational control.
